Super Saiyan Blue Goku Ki Control Dragon Ball Super
Super Saiyan Blue Goku when up against opponents that were significantly weaker than him including Android 17 and Krillin. This has led to many people blowing a complete gasket over the power scaling or whatever you want to call it in Dragon Ball super.
Some people have gone so far as to say that Super Saiyan Blue is now weak and not as strong as we initially thought.
There has been a lot of post/videos pop up online from fans about this theory. Now, the reality of the situation no matter which way you slice it is that the anime of Dragon Ball super has not given us a clear-cut definition about Super Saiyan blue.
Thus we have to fill in the holes with our own theories. One such theory that I’ve been looking at lately that’s been addressed by a couple of people is with being called the WTF theory. That supposed to explain Super Saiyan blue. I’m going to dress why the WTF theory is somewhat plausible. However, ultimately falls apart based on what Dragon Ball Super is telling us.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku Discussion Theory
Before I begin the discussion I just want to state that we’re talking about Super Saiyan Blue in the anime, not in the manga. The Manga version is slightly different, the way Toyotaro wrote the manga was flaws and whatnot.
We’re talking about just the anime which unfortunately is way more cryptic. The first time I had heard about the Shark Tank theory was a video that was done by anime live reactions on youtube.
What is The Shark Tank Theory?
I’m going to give you a straight facts straight logic from the series itself. So that you see how the Shark Tank Theory kind of does fall apart. The Shark Tank Theory to summarize it as best I can states that Super Saiyan 1, 2, and 3 the original Golden Hair Transformations are essentially for lack of a better term multipliers.
There is some truth to this statement as well. When you go Super Saiyan 1 to 50 times multiplier, it’s doubled. Again for Super Saiyan 2 and then again for Super Saiyan 3 form, that’s all documented from the original guidebooks.
There’s nothing that contradicts that necessarily, even though I personally feel like the Super Saiyan 3 multiplier seems to be a bit low. However, that’s my opinion, the thing about the guidebooks guys is that Toriyama did have influence in the guidebooks.
However, we don’t know exactly how much he had in the book. The only time Toriyama ever confirm the multiplier when it came to the transformation of Super Saiyan one.
So like with everything in Dragon Ball Super, it’s really up to you to determine whether or not you accept it. Now moving forward with the Super Saiyan blue water tank formula to summarization.
Super Saiyan Blue Ki Control
The theory is that Super Saiyan blue gives you a much higher level of ki control than the other three Transformations. There is truth to this and I do agree with this part of the theory based on what we saw Whis telling Goku and Vegeta during their training.
Whis told both of them to take their energy and keep it inside of them internally to bring it out when necessary. So, there is truth to this in the series and this would also explain why Goku’s fight with Krillin and 17 went the way they did.
Well, it was because Goku was heavily suppressing his energy during those fights with Krillin and 17. Goku was not going all out, I’m not going to even make a ballpark figure as to how much power Goku.
However, you could tell that Goku was surprising his energy during those flights. So blue does give you an opportunity to suppress your energy, there is truth to that you can’t even question it. I guess you can say its all based on very simple power scaling very, very simple power scaling.
Dragon Ball Master Roshi Planet Buster
Back in Dragon Ball, Master Roshi whom we know how they confirmed the power level of a hundred and thirty-nine (139). That is what Master Roshi power level was measured at in early DBZ. He was able to blow up a moon with the Kamehameha wave.
This was early on Dragon Ball, fast forward to DBZ Frieza in his first form at 530,000 power level was able to blow up Planet Vegeta with one finger very casually.
These characters for many years have been able to destroy the entire planet at will, that’s not even an over-exaggeration. They can do it extremely easy so the argument that being said here is that Super Saiyan blue gives you more ki control than the yellow-haired forms.
Nonetheless, that’s completely logically infallible because we know that Goku was able to Stomp Frieza in Super Saiyan and that’s back in the Namek Arc.
However, that’s not even including the multipliers that Goku got from subsequent Transformations like Super Saiyan 2 and 3. That’s not including the fact that Goku and Cell had this great epic fight and Goku and Buu just scale it up. It is very simple and I’m not a power scaler but it’s logic.
I mean it’s not that hard to figure out scale. By the time we get to the end of Dragon Ball Z forget super for just a moment. However, by the time we get to the end of DBZ, blowing up a planet should be nothing for Goku.
How Strong Is Super Saiyan Blue Goku?
Goku could literally lift up a finger and blow up a planet during those part of the series. So because of that, we know that Goku has suppressed his power for a very long time.
Why? because if he didn’t there’s no way that Goku could function and live a normal life with that kind of power. Goku would blow up an entire bathroom when he’s taking a dump. I mean, he just has to suppress and control himself. This is why he seems weak at times, he’s not pulling from his ki reserved.
Nonetheless, the idea of blue being the only form that suppresses ki is completely out of the window. You can’t say that especially when Goku and Gohan went into the room of spirit and time and came out with full power Super Saiyan.
They were the most controlled form we had seen up until that point and from there, they upgrade from that form to graded forms. Everything we read about Super Saiyan 2 has no flaws. Super Saiyan 2 has absolutely no flaws and no stamina issues like Super Saiyan 1. That’s how Super Saiyan 2 work.
If anything Super Saiyan 2 could be seen as a predecessor to Super Saiyan Blue Goku when it comes to it being the perfect form to use for combat purposes.
