So, How Strong is Majin Buu In Dragon Ball Super? Well, I thought it would be exciting to follow up with one of the strongest villains in Dragon Ball Z history.
The final Villain Majin Buu that our heroes would face. So, on this post, we’re going to discuss the strength, the feats, and the abilities that make Majin Buu such a dangerous enemy (although is no enemy now).
Majin Buu was the final antagonist of Akira Toriyama’s original 42 volumes of Dragon Ball Z manga.
Also, Majin Buu was the final villain of Dragon Ball Z anime. The first time that we saw Majin Buu was Dragon Ball Z episode 232 which correlates with Manga chapter 460.
Now, we’re going to get into some of the techniques and the abilities that made Majin Buu so dangerous.
However, first, We want to know a little about Majin Buu’s character when he was first introduced to us. What made Majin Buu so different from his predecessors like Frieza, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Cell?
Super Majin Buu Character
Well, this is the thing, Majin Buu was very childlike, or you could say baby like, almost like an overgrown baby. Now, what made Buu so dangerous was the fact that he was so childlike.
When you are childlike, your development is so immature. You have no care and no real sense of responsibility for life.
That defines Majin Buu’s moral compass that Buu for such a long time was pretty much sort of a slave to Babidi.
Majin Buu all the time was just listening to what Babidi says. While in Majin Buu’s mind, he thought that murdering and killing people was the right thing to do.
Majin Buu’ Chid-Like Character
So, when you have a character like that, who has so much power and yet doesn’t really know what to do with it.
Except for malicious things, because that’s the way he’s being trained and taught to ask. It could be an extra layer of danger for Our Heroes, but luckily as the series progress, we saw that Mr. Satan helped Buu become good.
Then he would spew out his evil version and on and so forth. I saw a post on twitter from Herms ages ago where he discussed which Buu is the strongest.
It was very clear that the manga Majin Buu with Gohan absorbed was the strongest.
Majin Buu is extremely powerful, his demonic powers are beyond anything that characters had face up until that point.
What is Majin Buu Made of?
Majin Buu’s body is composed of a demoniac form Gumball/liquid skin type of material, that can sustain incredible amounts of damage.
We see this time and time again in the series. We saw Majin Buu regenerate himself with great ease and not losing any stamina while doing it.
Again, we saw him take a spear through the stomach from Deborah. We saw him take a blast through the stomach as well.
Also, we see him take multiple bullets and we even have Vegeta blowing himself up, creating the biggest explosion of his life.
Anyways, Majin Buu gets torn up into millions of little pieces and still regenerate back to normal. Later on in the series during the fight with Gotenks, Buu becomes ash and still regenerate himself back to normal.
How Majin Buu Was Defeated?
Goku used the Genkidama to destroy every single living atom in Majin Buu’s body so that he could not regenerate again.
How Strong Is Majin Buu?
Majin Buu is stronger than Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta and Gohan and Kid Buu is slightly stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
Majin Buu Ultimate Human Extinction Attack
Majin Buu human extinction is a technique where he can fire literally thousands of Ki Blast from his hand and destroy the entire population of Earth.
Somehow Buu has such pinpoint accuracy that he can fire millions of Ki blast down to the Earth and immediately rid the Earth of life.
Don’t forget the fact that Majin Buu is like Goku himself a fighting genius. Remember, during their battle at West City, Goku does the Kamehameha once.
Majin Buu sees the technique and mimics it just like Goku did when he was a kid. Goku first learns the Kamehameha only seeing the technique once and he picks it up just like that.
We saw it later on as well when Buu does his own version of the super ghost kamikaze attack. Which you could also argue is, because he actually had Gotenks absorbed inside of him.
But none the less, he can still copy his opponent’s moves, which is very dangerous as well the most important.
An example of this is not Kamehameha. It’s actually later in the series when Kid Buu learns how to do the instantaneous movement, after seeing Goku do it once.
That technique started kid Buu’s complete Rampage of the Galaxy, destroying planets and stars one after another.
Before he would go to the sacred Kai realm and fight Goku and Vegeta in the final battle.
So, Kid Buu learn the instantaneous movement just by seeing it once and that was it for Kid Buu.
With Kid Buu, a lot of fans think he was not the smartest Majin Buu. However, he proves himself otherwise.
Another dangerous ability that we saw was Buu’s ability to absorb you. He can absorb Fighters into him and take their abilities, to take their mental prowess, and take their powers.
We see Super Buu doing this the only time we have an Asterix on the whole turning you into candy is with Buu and fat Booth.
This is because if you remember that Fat Buu tries to convert the skinny gray Buu into a chocolate bar. However, the technique was reversed against him and then Gray Buu ate fat Buu.
Typically, when Buu eats you when he turns you into a food item you die. But with Fat Buu, it was different because it was more of an absorption-type where the two Majin Buu’s sort of assimilated into each other.
As far as absorption goes, Majin Buu can remove a piece of his body hide it somewhere, and then absorb you when you’re not looking.
Majin Buu vs Beerus
How would Buu fare against Beerus? When it came to absorption, obviously Beerus could wipe the floor with any version of Majin Buu without a question.
What if Beerus is known to sleep for a long period of time. What if Beerus is asleep, what if Majin Buu sneaks up on Beerus asleep and tries to absorb him?
