Goku vs Majin Vegeta is heralded as one of the best fights in all of Dragon Ball Z. The fight between Goku Vs Majin Vegeta is a fan-favorite for many years.
However, it’s not just the fight that people love. The entire Saga of Majin Vegeta is one that Vegeta fans always point to as one of their favorite.
So you’re probably wondering Majin Vegeta explained? Is there something to review or explain with Majin Vegeta? Well, there is because I wouldn’t make this pose. Nonetheless, I want to take a deeper look into the Vegeta mindset during that time.
This is to know why he became Majin Vegeta. The build-up to during this entire Arc is even better than you remembered. Maybe better overall when you look deeper into it.
However, none of those really have an impact on the camera on the entire story of Dragon Ball then Majin Vegeta.
Toriyama Goku Vs Majin Vegeta Fight
The entire reasoning, the entire in-depth was looked at rooted in the character of Vegeta’s relationship to Goku at the end of the Cell Saga.
So, we really have to go back to the end of the Cell Saga to pick up on the clues that Toriyama was leaving about Vegeta’s motivation later on.
Of course, for him to be the writer he probably didn’t really have the idea to turn Vegeta once again into Majin Vegeta when we got that portion of the Saga.
However, you could tell that Toriyama saw something he could do with the character of a Vegeta. This was in relation to Goku. So, Toriyama executed it in a way that I felt was really well done in my opinion.
Open up your manga to chapter 4:17 or Dragon Ball Z Episode 192. With Goku being dead after sacrificing himself to save the world explosion from Cell.
Also, with Gohan having become the ungodly strongest fighter in the world, Vegeta at the time felt like his motivation to become a fighter have been taken away from him.
This was because, with both Cell and Goku, Vegeta had no reason to keep finding. If you remember prior to Vegeta’s obsession with defeating Goku, Cell is what ultimately made Vegeta who he was.
Vegeta always had Goku in the back of his head, he always wanted to surpass Goku. So when Goku died he saw no reason to fight anymore.
However, So that did not mean Vegeta didn’t saw any reason to train. Thus during those seven years after the Cell Games.
Goku Vs Majin Vegeta 7 Years Training
But before the Majin Buu saga would begin Vegeta did train. He trains hard to eventually maybe even surpassed Gohan at some point during those seven years.
Of course, Goku who was no slouch also trained in the other world tapping into not only Super Saiyan 2 but Super Saiyan 3 at some point during those seven years.
However, at the time there was no way the character of Vegeta would have known that Goku would ever come back. So Vegeta still trained still, but would also settle down in Dragon Ball Z with Bulma and become a family man.
Thus he starts a new life raising very young Trunks during that time. When Goku died, he told everybody not to wish him back because he felt that he was a magnet for trouble.
That’s he was reasons why the Earth has been put in so much danger multiple times. It really was something that would be a causality of the way Toriyama wrote the story.
Goku should have listened to his own advice because when Goku came back to Earth. During the tournament in the early part of the Buu Saga.
Majin Vegeta Revenge On Goku Buu Saga
Vegeta saw Goku and even though Vegeta didn’t immediately celebrate seeing Goku again once they became matched up in the tournament to face each other.
That is when Vegeta uses the opportunity to get a little bit of revenge on Goku not necessarily to kill him. However, he wanted to test Goku to see powerful and how Goku gains throughout the past seven years.
Vegeta wanted to know how strong Goku had become just like want to know how strong Perfect Cell would become. This is why Goku and Vegeta were always hungry for fighting.
It all makes sense that Vegeta would get messed up against Goku, while Goku excited he’s testing us up against once again to his former rival.
So what happened next? The Supreme Kai shows up, the Majins show up, and everything is going to the gutter because they’ll have to go and deal with this bigger threat of Bobidi the warlock.
and of course, the birth of Majin Buu be hatched. So put yourself in Vegeta’s shoes you’ve trained your entire life and the reality is you’re trying to move past me what happen in the Cell game.
Vegeta’s Envy Towards Goku Buu Saga
Vegeta Never Let It Go, he never let go of the day and he has envy towards Goku during those seven years. Can you imagine, even though Vegeta has his wife and kid he never let it go?
Nonetheless, he really wants to fight again, but while Goku comes back to life for one day, something unexpected begins to happen. That took his opportunity away from this fight with Goku with these villainous Force that’s threatening the sanctity of the earth.
Vegeta probably realizes that with the combined power of him, Goku, and Gohan this battle with Bobbidi would not last very long. That was probably the original intention of all the fighters to just get this over with and then we can go back and having our Goku Vegeta rematch.
The Birth Of Majin Vegeta Dragon Ball Z
Vegeta Realize by listening to what Mr. Satan said about the purple vetch that the Majin possession the technique that Bobbidi can do.
He stated that if you have evil in your heart that can also give you a tremendous boost in power. Vegeta saw that Sapulpa Vic was just a regular weakling human fighter and became a relatively powerful metahuman all because of Bobidi’s magic.
Plus when Goku fought Yadkin and Unleashed Super Saiyan 2 for the first time at least his version of it. Vegeta saw just how strong Goku had become.
He saw that Goku was not slouching and that Goku really did improve on everything in the Otherworld.
Now what’s interesting about all this is Vegeta had no idea about Super Saiyan 3. In fact, Toriyama himself probably had no real idea where he was going to go with any of that.
Probably he didn’t even think about that form until after all this. So, that’s always an interesting note if you look at the clues in the manga.
That being said, when Vegeta saw that there was a little bit of evil, a little bit of jealousy that gain that much power. So he said okay I can explain this so what ends up happening Vegeta allows himself to be taken over and turn Majin Vegeta.
Of course, when Vegeta turns Majin he is not evil but he sort of evil. What ends up happening here is a little bit complex.
Vegeta allows himself to get the upgrade so that he can be equal to Goku at least in his own head.
